Becomes key rotation cog at new school
Lamar, who made his season debut for UM Kansas City on Jan. 23, has averaged 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers in 27.8 minutes per game through his first four outings with the Roos.
ANALYSIS
After leaving UMBC as a graduate transfer during the offseason, Lamar initially committed to Manhattan, only to back away from that commitment a few weeks later. He ultimately landed at UMKC, but he didn't get the opportunity to make his 2020-21 debut until the beginning of the second semester. Based on his early contributions thus far, Lamar looks like he'll be a key part of the Roos rotation for the remainder of his redshirt senior season.
