Won't return to school
Flagler announced Wednesday that he'll forgo a sixth year of collegiate eligibility and will remain in the 2023 NBA Draft, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports.
ANALYSIS
After taking a redshirt following his transfer from Presbyterian after the 2019-20 season and then gaining another year of eligibility due to the affect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the 2020-21 campaign, Flagler had the option of sticking around for a fourth season in Waco in 2023-24. Rather than going that route, however, the 23-year-old will get his professional career underway. He averaged 15.6 points and 4.6 assists in 33.6 minutes per game as a super senior this past season while shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 40 percent from downtown.
