Conference tournaments begin next week and Selection Sunday is right around the corner, which is great news for passionate college basketball fans. This Saturday could determine whether or not certain bubble teams get a bid to this year's dance, so we should be in for another great day of college hoops action. Below are the FanDuel value plays for Saturday's early slate of games, which fall between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST.
Guards
Tre Demps, Northwestern vs. Rutgers ($6,900): Demps has scored in double-figures in seven of his last eight games, and he's really starting to get it going on the offensive end of the floor. The senior guard is averaging 29.1 fantasy points per game over his last six, and he'll have a very nice home matchup against Rutgers on Saturday, a team that enters the game ranked 230th in the country in defensive efficiency.
Kellen Dunham, Butler vs. Georgetown ($6,100): Dunham is Butler's second-leading scorer, averaging 15.7 points per game, and he's averaged 28.2 fantasy points per game over his last two. The senior guard comes with a reasonable price tag, and he'll get a decent matchup against a struggling Georgetown team.
Wayne Selden, Kansas vs. Texas Tech ($5,500): The junior guard got off to a very hot start to begin the season, but then started to cool down a bit during the mid-point of the season. Selden has found other ways to contribute, however, even on the nights when he struggles to score. He's averaging 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, and he's capable of easily scoring 30-plus fantasy points on any given night. Despite the inconsistency throughout the last month, it's hard to argue against him at home with a price of just $5,500.
Others Notables: Charles Mann, Georgia vs. Ole Miss ($5,700); Kenny Gaines, Georgia vs. Ole Miss ($5,700)
Forwards
Jordan Loveridge, Utah vs. Arizona ($6,400): Loveridge has scored at least 13 points in six straight games, and he's only committed more than one turnover once in that span. The senior forward shoots 43 percent from long range and simply finds ways to score on a consistent basis. Loveridge has scored at least 18 fantasy points in six consecutive games, and he's a safe bet to do it again at home against Arizona.
Isaac Copeland, Georgetown vs. Butler ($6,200): I'm riding Copeland once again, as he's scored at least 15 fantasy points in six consecutive games, which includes three performances of at least 26 fantasy points. He comes with a reasonable price and is averaging 26.0 fantasy points per game in his last three home games.
Alex Olah, Northwestern vs. Rutgers ($5,900): The senior forward is averaging 11.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 23.4 minutes per game, and he's scored at least 20 fantasy points in three out of his last four. Olah also averages 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 52 percent from the floor. Northwestern gets a home matchup against Rutgers on Saturday and Olah should provide solid value at $5,900.
Other Notables: Tonye Jekiri, Miami vs. Louisville ($6,600), Tyler Roberson, Syracuse vs. NC State ($6,200)
