Saturday's early slate includes 14 games which provide owners with all sorts of options when selecting their rosters. Conference play is in full swing, and March Madness is right around the corner, which is great news for college hoops fans.
Guards
Chauncey Collins, TCU vs. TENN ($5,700): The sophomore guard is TCU's third-leading scorer at 10.5 points per game, and he's now scored in double-figures in eight of his last 10. Collins also averages 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game and seems to be getting better by the minute. TCU gets a home matchup against Tennessee on Saturday, and Collins should be in for another solid game.
Trevor Cooney, SYRCS vs. GTECH ($6,100): Cooney plays 37.1 minutes per game for the Orange and he's absolutely lethal from long range. At 14.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, the senior guard is a very good asset to any fantasy team, especially at such a reasonable price. Cooney is averaging 17.3 points per game over his last four, and he should have a great matchup at home on Saturday against Georgia Tech.
Robert Johnson, INDNA vs. MINN ($6,000): Johnson is a very streaky scorer, but he provides solid production in every category, which makes him worth a good look each and every week. He's averaging just 7.7 points but also 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Johnson has seen his minutes rise ever since teammate James Blackmon went down with an injury. The Hoosiers get a matchup at home against an awful Minnesota team on Saturday, and Johnson is going to provide solid value based on his current price.
Forwards
Devin Williams, WSTVA at FLORI ($6,200): Williams is one of the better bargains on the board in my opinion, and he's the type of player who can go get you a monster double-double at any time. The junior forward has been in a bit of a scoring slump over the last four, but he's still averaging 13.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Williams is an athletic big man who can run the floor, which makes him a perfect fit for Bob Huggins' full-court pressure defense. Williams will have a solid matchup against the Gators on Saturday in what should be a fast-paced contest.
Jalen Reynolds, XAV at DPAUL ($5,800): Reynolds had been in a scoring slump before dropping 15 points and 11 rebounds on Providence in Tuesday's matchup earlier in the week. The junior forward is averaging 9.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, but he's capable of getting you a double-double on any given night. As long as he can stay out of foul trouble, Reynolds should have a solid day against DePaul.
Tyler Davis, TEXAM vs. IOWST ($6,000): Davis is averaging 11.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game, which is solid production for a freshman who's played just 19 games. Davis has made 14-of-19 field goals over his last three games, and he's scored at least 14 points in both of the last two. The most impressive part of his game is the level of effort on the defensive end. On any given night, Davis can get you multiple steals or multiple blocks due to his size and athleticism.
