FanDuel College Basketball: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel College Basketball series.

Welcome back for another edition of our FanDuel college basketball value plays. Below is the list of games that are included in Saturday's contests, followed by a handful of players who will provide good value at a very reasonable price.

There are early contests, which include a handful of games that start between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. EST. There are also late contests, which include games that start at 3:15 p.m. or later.

Early Games
12:00 p.m: Indiana State at Butler
12:00 p.m: Seton Hall at Rutgers
12:30 p.m: Temple at Wisconsin
1:00 p.m: Syracuse at Georgetown
3:00 p.m: California at Wyoming

Guards

Jordan Matthews, California at Wyoming ($5,300)
The junior guard is second on the team in minutes per game with an average of 29.1, and he's one of four players who averages double-digit points (11.4 per game). Matthews is a 40-percent three-point shooter and he's put together two solid performances in back-to-back games for the Golden Bears.

Khadeen Carrington, Seton Hall at Rutgers ($6,300)
Carrington enters this contest averaging 14.6 points in 29.1 minutes per game. He's coming off back-to-back 20-plus point performances, and he's scored in double-digits in six of seven games this season. The sophomore guard seems to be gaining confidence and getting better each and every night, and a third straight 20-point game could come against Rutgers.

Forwards

DeShawn Freeman, Rutgers vs. Seton Hall ($5,900)
Freeman shoots 54-percent from the field and he's leading the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds per game. He's coming off a bad performance against Wake Forest, but he provided great production in the three games prior to that. Freeman comes with a reasonable price tag and should have a nice matchup at home against Seton Hall on Saturday.

Bradley Hayes, Georgetown vs. Syracuse ($6,100)
While I normally stay away from players that will be playing in half court, slow-paced games, I still like Hayes tonight at home against the Syracuse zone. He's leading the team in rebounding at six per game, and when teams play zone defense, they are typically susceptible to offensive rebounds and second-chance opportunities. Hayes is a 6-foot-10 center who should have a good shot at pulling in double-digit rebounds, including a handful on the offensive end, which could lead to a few easy layups.

Late Games
3:15 p.m: Arizona at Gonzaga
3:15 p.m: Harvard at Kansas
4:00 p.m: Charleston at Miami
4:00 p.m: South Florida at South Carolina
4:00 p.m: Ole Miss at UMass
5:00 p.m: Georgia Tech at Tulane
7:00 p.m: Providence at Rhode Island
10:30 p.m: Texas A&M at Arizona State

Guards

Wayne Selden Jr, Kansas vs. Harvard ($7,400)
Selden is having a ridiculous season, and even though his price tag is a bit higher, he's been worth every penny through six games. The junior guard is currently fourth in the Big 12 in scoring at 17.2 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest. In the last two games, Selden has tallied 43 points and 13 rebounds while committing just two turnovers. He'll have a great matchup against a young Harvard team Saturday.

Tra Holder, Arizona State vs. Texas A&M ($5,900)
Holder averaged 7.0 points per game last year as a freshman and he's leaped to 12.0 as a sophomore. He's a streaky scorer that's struggled of late, but he's had a few very nice performances including a 22-point game against NC State. Holder also averages 3.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, which is nice production across the board. The price tag is fairly reasonable for this boom-or-bust point guard and I think he's worth a shot on Saturday at home against Texas A&M.

Forwards

Rodney Bullock, Providence at Rhode Island ($6,500)
Bullock is third on the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game and he's plays alongside the best point guard in the country, Kris Dunn, who helps distribute the ball and create offense for the Friars. The sophomore forward is averaging 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 block per game, and he should have a great matchup against Rhode Island on Saturday. At 6-8, 225 pounds, Bullock is a long athletic forward who should have good shot at a double-double.

Chris Perry, South Florida at South Carolina ($5,500)
Perry has seen his minutes increase over the last three games which has led to solid production for the junior forward. He's currently averaging 9.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, but those numbers will continue to rise as he continues to see more time on the floor.
