This article is part of our Draft Kit series.
It may look ridiculous to some people to see a center from a bottom dwelling Big East team at the top of this year's top 150 college basketball player ranking. Depending on league setup, Jessie Govan is the only true center that one could consider picking in the first round. He is so much better than the second-best center (possibly freshmen Bol Bol or Moses Brown, or maybe Udoka Azubuike) that taking him early seems like a no-brainer. Add in the fact that Georgetown does not play a terribly tough non-conference schedule and does not have a clear second-best player, and Govan is going to put up monster numbers, particularly for the first two months of the season. We've gone deep (maybe a little too deep) with tiers, but these should help with your Tier 1 drafts in October.
