Named Opening Day starter
The Orioles announced Friday that Eflin will get the start for the team's March 27 season opener in Toronto.

With Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) set to begin the season on the injured list, Eflin became the clear top option to make the first start of the 2025 campaign for Baltimore. The veteran right-hander was acquired at the trade deadline last summer and held a 2.60 ERA and 47:11 K:BB over 55.1 innings with Baltimore during the regular season.
