2022 Fantasy Outlook
The Hawks spent the 51st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft on Martin. A knockdown shooter with good size, Martin drilled 43.0 percent of his three-point attempts as a senior at UConn last season. At age 23, he's one of the oldest players in the draft. Martin will likely have to battle to make the Hawks' final roster ahead of the 2022-23 season and could spend time in the G League.

Middling Summer League
FAtlanta Hawks
July 17, 2023
Martin averaged 13.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.2 minutes per game across five Summer League contests for Atlanta.
ANALYSIS Martin played just 65 total minutes for the Hawks last season, but he boomed for 18.0 points and 9.2 rebounds across 23 starts for Atlanta's G League affiliate. Martin's 44.4/34.8/76.9 percent shooting slash on 10.8 shots per game this Summer League doesn't jump off the screen, but he's still trending upward after a quality rookie season in the G League.
