Two-way contract incoming?
In his mailbag column Thursday, Ian Begley of SNY.tv said he thinks Diawara has shown enough to warrant a two-way contract.
ANALYSIS
"I think he has. He had some really strong stretches in Summer League," Begley said. "A two-way deal would give Diawara a great opportunity to spend some time with the big club while getting game reps in Westchester." Selected with the No. 51 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Diawara appeared in four Summer League contests with averages of 7.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers in 22.3 minutes per game.
