Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown Jr. was born in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. As you might expect, he is the son of Charlie Brown Sr. The Senior Brown played two years of collegiate ball at North Carolina A&T. Brown started his high school days at George Washington High School in Philly. At GW, he earned the MVP award in the Public League B Division for the 2014-15 season. Brown then moved on to St. Thomas More High School in Oakdale, Connecticut. Fans can follow Brown on both Twitter and Instagram via @charliekbrownjr. Charlie Brown Jr. played two years of collegiate ball at St. Joseph's in the Atlantic 10. He was the fifth player in SJU history to produce at least 1,000 points in two seasons (he delivered 1,006). Brown started 30 games his freshman season (2016-17) and was an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honoree. As a redshirt sophomore, Brown averaged 19.0 points, 6.2 boards and 1.1 steals per game. That led to both an Atlantic 10 scoring title and Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second-Team honors. Brown was only the second St. Joseph player to ever earn an Atlantic 10 scoring crown. He went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft and later signed a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
