TEAM ANALYSIS
Defenses to Avoid
Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies: The Warriors are looking like the best team in the league again, and that's bad news for the Grizzlies. Considering the location of the game (Memphis), it's possible that they could muck up this game enough to force a Game 7, but I wouldn't expect them to do it with an outstanding offensive effort.
Offenses to Use
Atlanta Hawks at Washington Wizards: The Wizards' offense was muted in John Wall's first game back, but they still have the easiest matchup on the board. Washington's backcourt has been money, and they have players at pretty much every position that can make a solid impact on fantasy lineups.
First game of a back-to-back:: None
Second game of a back-to-back:None
DraftKings.com DAILY PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
If you've never played on DraftKings.com before, we recommend reading our Daily Fantasy Basketball 101: How to Win on DraftKings strategy article.
Point Guard
John Wall, PG, WAS ($8,700): The scary thing about paying up for Wall is that he could easily aggravate his hand injury and spend a good chunk of time on the sideline. But, right now he's creeping into undervalued territory, and is a smart play because of it. The Wizards face elimination, and they will need to squeeze every ounce of production out of their superstar.
Other suggestions: Stephen Curry (at MEM)
Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal, SG, WAS ($8,400): Aside from Game 3, Beal has hit 40 DraftKings points in every contest in this series. There's little reason to think he won't approach excellent numbers once again in a do-or-die Game 6. He's certainly worth paying up the extra cash for when looking at the rest of this player pool.
Other suggestions: Klay Thompson (at MEM)
Small Forward
Andre Iguodala, SF, GS ($4,200): Iguodala is the punt option on Friday, and he's been playing above his salary level. He's put up back-to-back games of 24 DraftKings points, and if he can approach 20 DK points again on Friday, he'll be worth it.
Other suggestions: Harrison Barnes (at MEM), Jeff Green (vs. GS)
Power Forward
Nene Hilario, PF, WAS ($4,800): Nene had a miserable first two games of this series (combined 11.25 DraftKings points), but has bounced back in a big way. He has hit at least 23 DraftKings points in each of his last three games, and is a low-end option to consider to help jam more studs into your lineups on Friday.
Other suggestions: Paul Millsap (at WAS), Zach Randolph (vs. GS)
Center
Marc Gasol, C, MEM ($8,500): Gasol has been extremely consistent, having hit at least 45 DraftKings points in his last three contests. He'll be relied on once again as Memphis faces elimination, and might be the best option on the board overall on Friday. He is as close to a must-start as you can get.
Other suggestions: Al Horford (at WAS)
