2026 Fantasy Outlook
Henriquez, who had no minor league options remaining, was DFA'd by Minnesota last offseason. The 25-year-old was claimed by Miami a few days later and quickly established a high-leverage role with the Marlins. The right-hander opened the eyes of fantasy managers last May, recording a 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB across 14.1 innings during the month. He later ran up a 16-game scoreless streak in the second half. Henriquez mixed five pitches effectively, headlined by an upper-90's fastball and sweeper that produced the highest whiff rate in the league (46.6 percent) among those who tossed a minimum of 300 of that pitch type. His sweeper and slider were responsible for 63 of his 98 strikeouts overall; the latter ranking sixth among relief pitchers. Henriquez racked up 26 holds (11th) and seven saves last year, but he recently underwent a UCL reconstruction surgery with an internal brace procedure on his right elbow and will miss the 2026 campaign. Analysis
Henriquez appeared in line to compete for save chances heading into the 2026 campaign after putting together an impressive 2025 season. He posted a 2.22 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with a 98:27 K:BB and seven saves in 11 chances across 73.0 innings. However, he'll now shift his focus to rehabbing following a recent season-ending surgery. The Marlins expect him to be ready for next year's spring training, per an update from the team.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Henriquez, whom the Twins acquired in the Mitch Garver trade with Texas, split time between the rotation and bullpen at Triple-A last season, delivering an underwhelming 5.66 ERA. He did have a 10.0 K/9 (106:33 K:BB) and better 4.67 FIP, so he may have been somewhat unlucky. Henriquez can reach the high-90s with his fastball, which gives him upside as a reliever and he'll try to win a spot in the bullpen this spring.
