Collects fifth save
PMiami Marlins
July 3, 2025
Hernandez earned the save in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Twins, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth.
Analysis
Hernandez was brought in to protect the Marlins' three-run lead, and he needed 15 pitches (11 strikes) to get the job done. He has logged a save in each of his last three outings and appears to have taken the Marlins' closing gig from Calvin Faucher, who registered a hold after tossing a scoreless eighth. Hernandez has yielded just one earned run over his last 10 outings, which has brought him down to a 2.79 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 42 innings with 58 strikeouts this season.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Henriquez, whom the Twins acquired in the Mitch Garver trade with Texas, split time between the rotation and bullpen at Triple-A last season, delivering an underwhelming 5.66 ERA. He did have a 10.0 K/9 (106:33 K:BB) and better 4.67 FIP, so he may have been somewhat unlucky. Henriquez can reach the high-90s with his fastball, which gives him upside as a reliever and he'll try to win a spot in the bullpen this spring.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Option to be traded
PMiami Marlins
June 8, 2025
The Marlins could listen to offers for Henriquez before the summer trade deadline, Jim Bowden of The Athletic speculates.
Analysis
Henriquez is one of several Marlins relievers who could generate interest before the deadline. The Dominican Republic hurler owns a 2.73 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 29.2 innings in 2025, and he could provide useful bullpen depth for a contending team.
