Drake was promoted to Double-A on Aug. 20 after a dominant run at High-A. The 6-foot-5 lefty saw his strikeout rate dip from 33.9 percent at High-A to 24.4 percent at Double-A while his walk rate rose from 6.5 percent to 13.4 percent. Drake broke out this year after his stuff improved across the board due to an offseason strength and conditioning program. He will return to the upper levels next year, where he will attempt to display starter-level command.
