2026 Fantasy Outlook
Quintero could be a future superstar hiding in plain sight. He laid waste to the Cal League last year, logging a 160 wRC+ with 14 homers and 35 steals in 81 games before getting promoted to the Midwest League on July 25. The righty-hitting center fielder slashed .259/.384/.440 with five home runs, 12 steals, a 15.8 percent walk rate and a 24 percent strikeout rate in 32 games for High-A Great Lakes. He wasn't quite as dominant at High-A (135 wRC+), but he still aced the assignment as one of the youngest players at High-A and had no trouble getting to his power in games while maintaining a strong approach at the plate. Quintero is a great athlete who spent the majority of the year patrolling center field. The only other minor-league players to hit 17-plus homers with 45-plus steals in 2025 were Cardinals outfielder Joshua Baez and No. 1 overall prospect Konnor Griffin. It's rare to find premium up-the-middle athletes who can show this combination of hit and power before their 20th birthday. The Dodgers have a bunch of outfield prospects, but Quintero is the best of the bunch, even if he's likely to spend all of 2026 in the minors. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
A potential five-tool center fielder, Quintero dominated the Dominican Summer League in 2023 (180 wRC+) and dominated the Arizona Complex League in 2024 (142 wRC+). He stumbled at Single-A as an 18-year-old, slashing .199/.333/.283 with a .257 BABIP and zero home runs in 27 games. Quintero's power has trended down as he's faced tougher competition, and that's not surprising, given that he just turned 19 in September and is still filling out his 6-foot frame. A former catcher, Quintero moved to center field when it became clear he was going to be at least a plus runner, and that speed is a big part of the dynasty appeal. He stole 51 bases in 105 games in rookie ball and has never struck out at a 20 percent clip. His 104.8 mph 90th percentile exit velocity is really strong for a plus center fielder his age. If more game power comes, he would shoot up prospect lists.
