The Twins acquired Chourio, Pablo Lopez and Jose Salas from the Marlins on Friday in exchange for Luis Arraez.
ANALYSIS
Chourio had a strong professional debut in the Dominican Summer League by hitting .344 (63-for-183) with one home run, 19 stolen bases, a .429 on-base percentage and an .838 OPS in 51 games. At age 17, he's a lottery ticket throw-in for the big trade. His 11.5 percent walk rate and 12.4 percent strikeout rate in the DSL are promising early signs for his future.
