ANALYSIS
Baker finished the month of May with a 5.72 ERA and a sky-high 2.00 WHIP. His 14.3 percent walk rate is a bottom-10 mark among all qualifiers. The 28-year-old remains a strong source of strikeouts on a per-inning basis and holds a solid 3.21 expected ERA, but he's fallen well behind Yennier Cano as an alternative high-leverage option behind closer Felix Bautista.
