Billy Cook

Cook doesn't boast much prospect pedigree and was buried among the multitude of elite hitting prospects in the Orioles' system. That changed when he was dealt to Pittsburgh at the trade deadline, and he made his brief big-league debut in September. The Pirates have yet to add a right fielder this offseason, leaving the position unresolved. Cook figures to fight for that job with Nick Yorke and Joshua Palacios barring an addition. His potential with playing time is intriguing, as he's repeatedly shown the ability to provide power and speed production as he climbed through the minors. His ability to make consistent contact will be key, as his strikeout rate has increased as he faces more advanced pitching.
