2026 Fantasy Outlook
Davalan was a pre-draft sleeper but generated more buzz after the Dodgers selected him 41st overall and he hit .500 with one home run, three steals and a 5:3 K:BB in eight games for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. The expectation coming into the 2025 First-Year Player Draft was that Davalan was a bat-first player who may be limited to left field and second base defensively, although the Dodgers deployed him only in center field after he signed for a hair under $2 million. A 5-foot-9, lefty hitter from Montreal, Davalan really improved his stock after transferring from Florida Gulf Coast to Arkansas for his draft-eligible sophomore season. He slashed .346/.433/.561 with 14 home runs, 10 steals, an 11 percent walk rate and an 8.5 percent strikeout rate for the Razorbacks despite the steep jump in competition. He's got a chance to be a positive contributor across the board in fantasy, and his recent jump in performance leaves the door open for some high-end outcomes. Read Past Outlooks
