The son of future Hall of Fame manager Dusty Baker, Darren received his first cup of coffee in the major leagues in 2024 with the Nationals. Baker is a player with a very limited skill set. After hitting just one home run in four years in college, he has clubbed only six long balls across 346 minor-league games. The 26-year-old makes a lot of contact and has a career .286 average on the farm, however, and he stole 38 bases last season at Triple-A Rochester.
