25-Year-Old CatcherC
Tampa Bay Rays
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Keegan has never played in the majors and was a below average hitter (89 wRC+) last year in the International League, but the Rays added him to the 40-man roster this offseason. He was delayed by an elbow injury to start the year and logged a .241/.306/.429 slash line with 10 home runs and a 30.6 percent strikeout rate in 69 games at Triple-A. Keegan has spent a good deal of his minor-league career working on his catcher defense, possibly at the expense of his offense, however his run at Triple-A was the first time he performed below league average at the plate. Keegan's 113.5 mph maxEV and 47.5 Statcast HardHit% at Triple-A were very strong marks for a big-league ready catcher, so if he can cut the strikeouts, he could hit enough to be a low-end C2 in deeper two-catcher leagues.
