Fletcher had a strong showing in his first taste of the big leagues last season, posting a .301/.350/.441 slash line in 28 games. He also enjoyed a strong campaign at Triple-A Reno, hitting 10 homers with an .899 OPS in 66 contests. Arizona has a glut of outfield talent beyond Fletcher, with Corbin Carroll fresh off a ROTY campaign to go along with Jake McCarthy, Alek Thomas and veteran Lourdes Gurriel, who re-signed in December. Only Carroll and Gurriel are guaranteed playing time, however, with McCarthy and Thomas both finishing with a sub-.700 OPS in 2023. Fletcher may have a hard time picking up starting chances early in 2024, but the possible struggles of McCarthy and/or Thomas could provide a window to establish himself. Read Past Outlooks
