Fletcher was unable to build on his breakthrough 2023 season with the Diamondbacks. The White Sox acquired Fletcher and his 112 wRC+ in 28 games last offseason, ostensibly to play right field. He struggled in spring training and was never able to get on track, posting a low 43 wRC+ in 72 games. His Hard-Hit and average exit velocity both plummeted while he fanned a few ticks more. The White Sox have brought in some journeyman outfielders, so Fletcher must impress during spring training to make the roster, let alone earn significant playing time.
