2025 Fantasy Outlook
Raley had rotten luck suffering through back spasms and an olbique strain in a year where T-Mobile Park finally became friendlier to hitters. Those two injuries led to him missing about half the season when you account for games missed due to the platoon disadvantage of facing a lefty. A power hitter is not much of one without a health core, so seeing Raley's on-base percentage higher than his slugging percentage is not the last bit surprising. This is someone who has had 90th percentile max exit velocity each of the past three season along with quality contact and a surprising amount of sprint speed for someone built like he should be playing tight end for the Seahawks. Raley has first base and outfield eligibility for 2026 and, for now, is slated as the first baseman for the Mariners with Josh Naylor departing the franchise via free agency. Raley's starting role will likely lose plate appearances in a platoon, but there is no obvious right-handed solution on the roster as of early November. Read Past Outlooks
