Mike's son saw action in 66 games and tallied 186 plate appearances with the Athletics in 2024, which is easily the most action he's seen in a big-league season so far. Unfortunately, Cameron still wasn't able to find his footing with just a .587 OPS and 27.4 percent strikeout rate. Cameron's quality of contact was a positive to take away, however, as he produced a healthy 48.8 percent hard-hit rate and 91.6 mph average exit velocity. The Orioles saw enough to like that they traded for the 28-year-old over the offseason, but Cameron faces a tall task in emerging with significant playing time on the deep Baltimore roster.
