J.D. Davis

31-Year-Old Third Baseman3B
Los Angeles Angels
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Davis suffered through a terrible 2024 campaign, slashing only .218/.293/.338 with four home runs across 46 contests between the Athletics and Yankees. Davis entered spring camp as the Giants' primary third baseman, but he quickly found himself without a clear path to playing time after the team signed Matt Chapman. Rather than having Davis begin most games on the bench, the Giants released him. He then signed with Oakland, was later released and then signed with the Yankees. He was released again and spent the last of the season in the minors with the Orioles. It was a hard fall for the 31-year-old. He had a career .775 OPS prior to last season, so he has some bounce back potential. He signed a minor league deal with the Angels where he could provide depth at the corner infield spots and also left field. Read Past Outlooks
