2026 Fantasy Outlook
Conforto came to the Dodgers on a one-year deal last December and was one of the few weak links on the championship club. The veteran outfielder finished the campaign with a career-worst .638 OPS over 486 plate appearances, contributing only a modest amount of power (12 homers). Conforto's advanced metrics weren't as bad as the OPS suggests, and his .237 xBA was considerably higher than his actual .199 mark, but he was average or worse in nearly every category aside from chase rate (82nd percentile) and walk rate (84th percentile). Conforto was left off Los Angeles' postseason roster entirely, which is a pretty good indication that the team isn't likely to bring him back. In his previous three healthy campaigns before joining Los Angeles (he didn't play in 2022 due to a shoulder injury), the outfielder hit between .232 and .239 with between 14 and 20 homers, so MLB teams who pursue him will likely look to that level of production as an indicator of what he may be able to offer, most likely as a platoon option.
