Rojas' performance at the plate in 2024 was his best over a full season and he also graded out excellently on defense again at shortstop with a plus-11 Outs Above Average. The nice showing led to the Dodgers picking up his $5 million club option for 2025, but then the team announced shortly after that that it would be moving Mookie Betts back to shortstop in 2025. That leaves Rojas without a path to regular at-bats, although, at 36, the Dodgers are probably wise to limit his exposure.
