After putting up new career highs with an .863 OPS and 23 home runs in 2023, Flores collected a disastrous .595 OPS with only four home runs over 71 games during an injury-shortened 2024 campaign. The veteran infielder dealt with a knee problem before eventually undergoing season-ending surgery in August. Flores will be back with the Giants after picking up his player option for 2025 and, given his track record, it's reasonable to assume he'll return to being a lefty-mashing, solid part-time starter, provided he's healthy. The 33-year-old will enter the 2025 season only with first base eligibility, which isn't ideal for a low-ceiling player whose versatility had been part of his deep-league appeal. Read Past Outlooks
