Braun, a 6-foot righty who reached Triple-A at the end of 2025, has good command of mediocre stuff. He excelled at Double-A as a 23-year-old, logging an 18.6 K-BB%, 3.99 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over 130.2 innings. However, while he prevented runs and baserunners at Triple-A (1.42 ERA, 0.68 WHIP), he only struck out 11 batters in 19 innings (three starts). Braun sits in the low-90s with his fastball (touches 95 mph) and throws five to six pitches. It's a kitchen sink approach, as his average slider and average cutter are his two best offerings. If Braun can add velocity to his fastball, he could ride his above-average command to a No. 4 or No. 5 starter role, otherwise he projects as a swing man or middle reliever. Read Past Outlooks
