Winn made his big-league debut last year at age 25 and mostly performed well, tallying 35 strikeouts against only eight walks in five starts and four relief appearances covering 42.1 innings. But when opposing hitters made contact, it was generally hard contact, and his 4.68 ERA tells the story more accurately than his 1.04 WHIP. He had a 4.08 ERA in 108 innings between Low-A, High-A and Double-A in 2022 and a 4.81 ERA in 58 innings with Triple-A Sacramento in 2023. His command might have miraculously improved and maybe Keaton will be the rare pitcher who performs better in the majors than he ever did in the minors, but the Giants aren't guaranteeing him a rotation spot out of the gate in 2024 and the right-hander can mostly be ignored on draft day in standard fantasy formats.
