Seattle Mariners
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Munoz established a new career-high with 38 saves in 2025 as Seattle's new manager, Dan Wilson, was more strict with who he summoned to close out games than Scott Servais was in years past. Munoz's 88.4 percent team save share for the Mariners was 2nd-highest among closers last season. The 27-year-old kept prior nagging injuries behind him, turning in his second consecutive healthy campaign while earning All-Star honors for the second straight year. His 1.73 ERA was 4th-best among qualified relievers, though walks were still a concern. Munoz was able to limit damage with his devastating slider, holding opposing hitters to a mere .109 batting average on the pitch; 2nd-best in the league for that pitch type, behind only Mason Miller (.108). Munoz's slider produced a 51 percent whiff rate (also 2nd in the league for that pitch type) with 60 of his 86 total strikeouts coming via that offering. On average, the Mexican native has been the top closer off the board in early 2026 drafts. Read Past Outlooks
