Adams' career continues to be marred by injuries, as the right-hander's 2024 campaign ended prematurely due to right forearm tendinitis. The skills have always been apparent, but Adams has missed an average of 74 days per season on the IL since 2021. Last year, the 33-year-old appeared in 56 games for the Athletics prior to his injury, registering a 3.92 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 53:23 K:BB over 41.1 innings.
