Turnbull was one of the top adds in fantasy baseball early on last season after he got off to a fantastic start with Philadelphia, posting a 1.67 ERA and 0.84 WHIP over his first six starts (32.1 innings). Everyone including the Phillies knew it wouldn't last long and the team preemptively moved him to the bullpen despite his success. While well intended, the move to shorten Turnbull up didn't exactly work out since he went down with an injury before the end of June anyway. When he first suffered the oblique injury, he downplayed it, but Turnbull never it made back to a big-league mound. At this point the health issues may be insurmountable. The right-hander missed the better part of two years after Tommy John surgery and subsequent setbacks. Now 32, he has totaled 135.1 innings in the majors over the past four seasons. Read Past Outlooks
