Quintana opened the season at Triple-A Nashville after signing with the Brewers in early May, then joined Milwaukee's rotation after two weeks once he was fully stretched out. He finished with 24 starts, working around an early IL stint for a shoulder issue and a late-season absence due to a left calf strain.
