2025 Fantasy Outlook
Palacios had an impressive .333/.396/.452 triple-slash line in 2025, but that came in just 17 games as he spent most of the season on the trainer's table in Florida or North Carolina while on rehab assignment. Palacios was hit on the hand in Spring Training and suffered a broken right ring finger, much like Jonathan Aranda the season prior. Palacios returned for all of one game on April 17th going 3 for 4 with a stolen base but also incurring a sprained knee and Palacios did not make it back to the big league roster until roster expansion on September 1st due to setback on his rehab in Durham. If you are looking for a late round or deeper sleeper, this is someone to consider. Palacios is 27 for 28 in his major league stolen base attempts and the club believes there is more in his bat than what the limited playing time has shown. They felt similarly about Aranda this time last year and that played out very well. Not sayin', just sayin'. The outfield depth chart is wide open for Palacios to grab a regular spt and even hit leadoff with his plate discipline abilities. Read Past Outlooks
