2025 Fantasy Outlook

Iglesias is what the kids might call a "personality hire." He's a great clubhouse presence and his music made him a fan favorite in Queens last season. His value is not limited to all that, as he can play strong infield defense and hit for a high average, albeit an empty one. Entering his age-35 season, Iglesias may be better known for his music career at this point, but he can still do enough well on the field to complement the intangibles. Many believed it was inevitable that Iglesias would end up back with the Mets in 2025, but he signed with the Padres in March. Eligibility at second base and third base is nice but not enough to push him to mixed-league viability. Read Past Outlooks
