Thomas Harrington

Harrington looked overmatched in his first taste of the majors last year, giving up nine runs in eight innings across two April starts and six runs in 0.2 innings in an August start. He spent most of the year at Triple-A, logging a 5.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 90 strikeouts in 96 innings. Coming into 2025, Harrington had a lot of fans, as he'd displayed pinpoint control in 2024 (4.1 BB%) across Double-A and Triple-A, and while he didn't have monster stuff, he had a deep pitch mix. His walk rates may have been elevated in 2025 because he wasn't trusting his stuff to play in the zone, but it was pretty clear last season that significant improvements are needed before he's ready to for another shot in the big-league rotation.
