Jack Suwinski

Parts of Suwinski's profile suggest he possesses an ideal skillset for the current state of the game, as he's capable of working a walk and has plenty of pop (.202 ISO), though he also has significant holes in his swing that have led to a career 30.9 percent strikeout rate in over 1,100 big-league plate appearances. He's coming off an extremely disappointing 2024 season, as he went from opening the campaign as Pittsburgh's primary option in left field to spending the final two months of the season with Triple-A Indianapolis. That leaves Suwinski with an uphill battle for a role in Pittsburgh for the 2025 campaign, though the team has done little to settle its situation in right field.
