2026 Fantasy Outlook
Murphy will find it easier to earn high-leverage opportunities in Chicago after an offseason trade from Boston, but he's unlikely to be the favorite for saves even in his new home. His 3.12 ERA last season came with a much worse 4.59 SIERA, and even if he avoids ERA regression, a lefty who gets groundballs like he does is the sort of pitcher who tends to find himself in the seventh or eighth inning rather than the ninth.
