Nick Maton

Maton spent most of the season with Triple-A Norfolk, appearing in just five games for the Orioles, mustering only five trips to the dish. He recorded a respectable .258/.363/.471 line for the Triple-A Norfolk Tides, but there was never a need for his services on a loaded Orioles offense. Maton inked a minor league deal with the White Sox where his ability to play everywhere in the diamond except behind home plate gives him a much better chance to latch on as a super-utility. He'll start the season eligible at just third base, but if he makes the team, he should add more spots, putting him in the AL-only, end-game conversation. Read Past Outlooks
