Rodriguez 's biggest challenge in 2026 will be to prove to fantasy managers he is not just the next version of Jhonkensy Noel. The two are cut from the same cloth: big bat speed, big exit velo, and big contact issues. Rodriguez showed all of that in limited playing time with Cleveland in 2025 after a climb up the organizational ladder in which he hit 114 homers including 29 in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. His 23.1% strikeout rate in Triple-A last season was his best since playing in A-ball in 2021, so perhaps there is hope things can get better for him. He will have to force his way into a platoon in right field or, more likely, DH because he has no discerning defensive value.
