Baltimore exercised Perez's $2.2 million club option for 2025 after a solid campaign in which the southpaw did not allow a home run. The 28-year-old racked up 23 holds (T-15th) for the Orioles as one of their top lefties out of the bullpen, though it's worth noting that Danny Coulombe missed a good chunk of the season and Gregory Soto was acquired via trade. Perez throws hard - he averaged 96.1 mph on his sinker last year - which helped limit the amount of hard contact he allowed (84th percentile hard-hit rate), but he continues to struggle with walks.
