Danny Young Injury: To be non-tendered

The Mets are expected to non-tender Young (elbow), Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Young gave up four earned runs over 8.1 innings with the Mets in 2025 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in May, which will likely keep him out through the first half of the 2026 season. The 31-year-old will officially become a free agent following Friday's non-tender deadline.
