Closer Watch

Cincinnati Reds – Who's the best closer in the game? Come on, now, you know… right? Right? Yeah, most annoying intro ever, but Aroldis Chapman locked down his 12th save of the season, even after hitting a rough patch in recent play. Chapman is about as reliable as it gets, so continue to hang onto him if you're lucky enough to roster the superstar arm.

Washington Nationals – Okay, so maybe Chapman isn't the best closer in the game. Maybe that title belongs to Drew Storen; after he nailed his 19th save of the season on Wednesday for the Nationals. Storen has a miniscule 1.11 ERA on the year.

Recommended Pickup

Trevor May, SP, Minnesota Twins – The 25-year old May was once a touted prospect for the Twins, and while he hasn't debuted with a boom during his young career he still offers some intrigue as a backend pitcher to roster in deeper leagues. Over May's last two starts, he has only given up one earned run in 13 innings pitched, while striking out 14 batters and only walking one. Is May worth a shot? You betcha.

Other Recent Recommendations:Ben Paulsen, Carlos Correa, Carson Smith, Cameron Maybin, Joe Ross, Joey Butler and Lance McCullers

DraftKings Value Picks

SP: Chris Rusin, COL ($4,900)
C: Wilson Ramos, WAS ($3,500)
1B: Lucas Duda, NYM ($3,500)
2B: Joe Panik, SF ($3,600)
SS: Brandon Crawford, SF ($3,700)
3B: Jimmy Paredes, BAL ($3,800)
OF: Ben Paulsen, COL ($3,500)
