Closer Watch
Yankees – Rafael Soriano entered Saturday's game against the Red Sox with the game tied at six in the ninth inning. He proceeded to allow two runs (both earned) and earn his first loss of the season as the Yankees fell to Boston 8-6. Soriano's ERA rises to 1.98, but his job is hardly in jeopardy. He has still converted 26 of his 28 save opportunities.

Recommended Pickup
Todd Frazier, 3B, CIN – Strangely, the general consensus seems to be that Frazier doesn't have much fantasy value. He is only owned in eight percent of ESPN leagues, but the Reds' third baseman actually owns some of the best offensive numbers at his position in baseball. Frazier is currently hitting .283/.340/.535 and has 11 homers to add to that in his 253 plate appearances. That triple slash gives him an OPS that is 28 percent better than the league average.
The odd part of Frazier's uncharacteristically low own percentage is that he is perfectly consistent as an everyday player. Right now, he has an .849 OPS against right-handed pitchers and a .942 OPS against left-handed pitchers. Meanwhile, he plays half his games in Great American Ball Park, the ultimate hitting environment, which means that even if he falls off he is going to have some help from his home stadium. In a league in which third base is quickly losing value, Frazier could be a good player to pick up, especially for those owners who are mourning the loss of Alex Rodriguez.
