Colorado Rockies – If you've been holding onto the hope that LaTroy Hawkins will get a few saves for you by the end of the season, then you may want to consider just letting him go altogether; however, this is assuming that this time of the year means something to you and you're not in a neck-and-neck race in the saves category in which you'll lose ground with your ratios. Hawkins has been quite awful over his last four appearances allowing six runs in 3.1 innings pitched, while blowing two saves. The last time Hawkins notched a save for fantasy owners was August 30, as he's seen his ERA balloon from 2.68 to 3.58 since then.

Wilmer Flores, 2B/3B/SS, NYM – Not only do you have to love Flores' positional eligibility at this point of the season, you have to dig his hitting of late. Flores rounds out a roster well with all of the late-season injuries players are suffering, especially when you consider the wear-and-tear that a full MLB season will do to some. Flores is 9-for-19 with three homers, four runs scored and 10 RBI over the last five days of play. Sure, he had a huge night on Tuesday but I'm taking the chance that his hot bat continues for the next week.
