Kyle Palmieri Injury: Sustains lower-body injury

Palmieri (lower body) won't return to Friday's game versus the Flyers.

Palmieri was injured in the second period, though he was able to pick up an assist on his last play. He had one hit as well in 9:25 of ice time prior to the injury. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Capitals, pending an additional update from the Islanders.
