Desmond Reid Injury: Set to sit at Stanford

Reid (ankle) is in line to sit out Saturday's game at Stanford, Stephen Thompson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Reid went down with an ankle injury last Sunday against NC State, and he was unable to return to the matchup. The starting running back will now be sidelined for his third game of the season, barring an unexpected change. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but he was able to warm up before this game, which bodes well for a return relatively soon.
